The future belongs to those who can see it! They make plans for the fulfilment of what they see; this positions them to experience it. That ability to see is what having a vision is about. Many possibilities await our discoveries, adjustments and preparations as we find ways of not allowing past blunders to affect future destines. Many past blunders are contained revelations of the insecurities of past leaders. The present leaders must understand themselves, understand their environment, have a healthy concept their peculiar challenges and navigate their ways into the future. They will need mentors and be sensitive in their navigational skills to avoid the traps that held men of old from making progress in the directions that are now open to us all. If our present insecurities are not dealt with, we shall repeat past blunders. Leadership and management walk hand in hand. Leadership deals with direction and vision while management...

Wealth is playing a major role in many things on earth today. Success is usually defined in terms of wealth, influence, popularity and the power wealth confers on its owner. The major ruling influence on earth today is wealth. It is the hidden agenda behind wars, politics and many religions today. Many are simply slaves to wealth. All the pornography and atrocities committed around the world are driven by wealth. It is observed that some people find it difficult to serve God because of their pursuit of money. Somehow it seems that those who are willing to serve God are not too concerned about serving wealth and those who are locked into wealth seem to have not much time for God. This needs to change. We need a clear understanding of God’s purpose, perspective and plans for money or wealth in these last days. The love of money and the deceitfulness of...

[Continuation from 'Winning the Battle of the Mind'] We are engaged in a war; the enemy is Satan; the mind is the battle field; and the devil works diligently to set up strongholds in our minds. He does it through strategy and deceit, (well laid out plans and deliberate deceptions). He is in no hurry; he takes his time to work out his plans. We are to cast down imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself above the knowledge of the truth. God's word is truth. John 8:31-32 (KJV). Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. Freedom comes through knowing and acting on the truth. Jesus Himself calls Himself The Truth. John 14:6-7 (KJV). Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the...

My love for God and His Word brought me to desire to know the meaning and applications of words like grace and mercy. Another word like that is peace. In the New Testament the words grace, mercy and peace come up regularly. The general definition of grace is the unmerited favour of God or God’s Riches At Christ’s Expense. When I come across phrases like ‘be strong in the grace’, ‘grow up in grace’, and ‘grace abounding to us in all things’, and when Paul says that grace works mightily in him and he is what he is by the grace of God, I begin to get the feeling that we may need another dimension of understanding for the word called grace. There is a grace teaching that implies that no matter what happens, God’s love is such that you do not need to feel bad about anything, you are inherently...

We need to know the will of God and appreciate His plans so we can participate in fulfilling His purposes in every area of our lives. God has plans for every life and they are not set in concrete. He is also aware of the circumstances of our lives and our freedom to make choices. All these impact how His will is being done on earth. He has foreknowledge; He has set laws into motion, including the law of cause and effect. He is also all powerful in that He can make all things work together for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. (See Romans 8:28-30). Purpose can be defined as the original intention of the creator or manufacturer of a product. In the Greek language, it suggests a deliberate plan, a proposition, an advance plan, an intention and a design. It is...

Our Lord Jesus recognised His purpose and matured into the fulfilment of His purposes in the Father God. He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed of the devil. Isaiah 61:1-4 “THE SPIRIT of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed and qualified me to preach the Gospel of good tidings to the meek, the poor, and afflicted; He has sent me to bind up and heal the broken-hearted, to proclaim liberty to the [physical and spiritual] captives and the opening of the prison and of the eyes to those who are bound, To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord [the year of His favour] and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, To grant [consolation and joy] to those who mourn in Zion—to give them an ornament (a garland or diadem) of beauty instead of ashes, the oil...

Fulfilling Your Prophetic Destiny Isaiah 61:1-4 “THE SPIRIT of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed and qualified me to preach the Gospel of good tidings to the meek, the poor, and afflicted; He has sent me to bind up and heal the broken-hearted, to proclaim liberty to the [physical and spiritual] captives and the opening of the prison and of the eyes to those who are bound, To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord [the year of His favour] and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, To grant [consolation and joy] to those who mourn in Zion—to give them an ornament (a garland or diadem) of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, the garment [expressive] of praise instead of a heavy, burdened, and failing spirit—that they may be called oaks of righteousness [lofty, strong, and...
