My love for God and His Word brought me to desire to know the meaning and applications of words like grace and mercy. Another word like that is peace. In the New Testament the words grace, mercy and peace come up regularly. The general definition of grace is the unmerited favour of God or God’s Riches At Christ’s Expense. When I come across phrases like ‘be strong in the grace’, ‘grow up in grace’, and ‘grace abounding to us in all things’, and when Paul says that grace works mightily in him and he is what he is by the grace of God, I begin to get the feeling that we may need another dimension of understanding for the word called grace. There is a grace teaching that implies that no matter what happens, God’s love is such that you do not need to feel bad about anything, you are inherently...

Submission is yielding to one another and this is only possible when we humble ourselves.  Grace can only teach those who are yielded to it. How much we miss out when we hold on to our opinions and cares, instead allowing grace to move us on in God's plans for our lives!   This write-up is calling for a heart examination. How much are we in the state of humility which will enable God to correct, equip and impart strength into us for the journey ahead? How much are we willing to have a change of heart, lifestyle or disposition so we can be...

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ is defined as the unmerited favour God poured on humanity through the Sacrifice of our Saviour Jesus Christ, the Son of God. This grace has brought salvation from sin, sickness, diseases, poverty etc. we have a new identity, carry a new authority and expect a different outcome in our lives after we get born again! We also learn to cooperate with the Spirit of God in helping us to deal with our humanity. So we can learn and participate as well as enjoy what God has done for us in Christ; what the Holy Spirit is doing in us as believers; and what the Son is doing at the right hand of the Father on our behalf. He ever lives to intercede for us. Praise God for a such wonderful plan for us.   Grace, however, has dimensions: there is the teaching dimension; then the enabling...
